∙ 14y agoIn the UK there is not such thing as a standard amount of compensation for a shoulder injury and surgery. It all depends on the nature of the injury - both the severity and duration verified by medical evidence.

In this state, that is it. It paid to get the broken part fixed. It paid my salary while I was out of work. Workman's comp was set up to replace lawsuits. Generally the injury required to use a lawsuit is severe.
In the United States, workman's comp is a local issue with each state having its own rules.
