What is the base of human strength?

I think I know what you're trying to get at, but I could almost certainly answer this question if it was just a bit more detailed.

Strength itself is going to be genetically predietermined to an extent, so whatever your parents pass down to you is what you got!

Strength is going to then de developed physically through a process of continually and progressively overloading your system through a series of activities or exercises whatever the case may be. There's different strengths also. There's strength of endurance, strength of power, etc.

If you could be a bit more specific on this question I'd be more than happy to try to elaborate.
