1. Align - the best heli both for beginners and advanced [but youll need a good computerized radio to start the hobby advanced and a simulator (Phoenix flight sim.)]. Modern models are the trex 450 sport/pro, trex 550, and trex 700e 3g. i recommend starting on the biggest one you can afford 250 being the smallest and 700 being the biggest. This is the most popular brand out their due to the fact that it is reliable and the one of the best performers in the industry!
Curtis Young Blood - is a rising company made by a heli pioneer curtis youngblood it can out perform the align depending on the setup. but this is note, alot more expensive to build and maintain.
Outrage - this is more for expert flyers who know how to tune and rebuild gas or glow engines this is more a complex heli due to the fact that it is powered by gas or nitrous and is very dangerous if you don't know what your doing. it is very stable but can be very fast and this heli can hit you and cause a very big hospital bill or your life dye to their size and the torque of a gass engine. Although helis 450-700 or .30-.90 for gas are dangerous to the hands of a total noob this can be made safer with training gear and again experience with a 4ch heli like the e-flite blade msr or a simulator good luck!!!
oh and exceed is one very cheap and not reliable heli that will just give you headaches so do yourself a favor and buy some high end helis you get what you pay for!!!
