What is the best advice for teenagers?

The best advice I can give is this: If you're interested in someone, but you aren't sure if it's mutual, then try sitting really close to them. When you have feelings for someone that are beyond friendship, your personal boundaries don't apply to that person. This means that if they allow you to be so close that your legs touch, then they most probably have feelings for you.

More advice:Please keep in mind that the following advice is coming from someone who has the benefit of hindsight, and it's true that hindsight is much clearer vision than foresight or the vision you have while living through something.

First, get your priorities straight. Playing Video Games and finding out what celebrities are doing are going to have no positive affects on your life. In fact, spending too much time on things like that is nothing more than a waste of time. Instead, spend your time doing well in school and participating in wholesome activities, like clubs at school and groups like 4-H and Scouting. I know 4-H and Scouting might sound "old fashioned," but they will do much more for your life than trying to beat a game and finding out what celebrities are virgins or gay!

Second, be your own person and set your standards high. Don't do anything because the crowd is doing it, especially having sex or doing drugs. Regardless of what anyone tells you, having sex too young or before you are married can have detrimental effects on your relationship after you are married. I'm not implying that it will. I'm just saying it can, and I speak from experience. As for drugs, doing drugs just is not cool.

Remember this: Even if you believe in reincarnation, you get ONE chance at the life you are living now. What seems cool when you are a teenager may not seem so cool when you are 25 or 35. The best way to avoid having regrets is to avoid making poor decisions. Believe it! I know, and I'm way past 25 or 35.
