Comcast offers good service at competitive prices, while Charter has a great customer service record. But, Cable service providers often have city wide contract so you are often stuck with whatever provider that is contracted by your city.
Go to the Library and see which one Consumer Reports Magazine recommends. They are very good at picking out which products to buy and which ones to avoid.
