In my opinion the best experience that I have had with a cable company has been with Verizon. Their FiOs service is the fastest and most reliable I have seen. The customer service is also an A+ in my book.
Go to the Library and see which one Consumer Reports Magazine recommends. They are very good at picking out which products to buy and which ones to avoid.
You can get cable through Shaw, Tellus, Comcast, Windstream etc. You can also get satellite cable through Dish Network or Direct TV. Many of theses companies offer internet as well.
