Try to find a dog equal in size, as well as a dog that will not challenge the territory of your current dog. You may have to shop around alot, so don't get attached to the next dog you bring in your house. Your current dog has already clained that territory and if you have a dominate natured dog, another dog may not be the best idea in the world. Try a search for the dog whisperer, he works only with dogs.
