What do blue nose pit bull eat?

I have a red nose Pit Bull. I consulted with my Vet on the best food for him. It depends somewhat on your budget. If you can afford Science Diet that is what they recommended. For a lower budget like mine, they suggested Purina Puppy Chow and then after he got bigger Purina Dog Chow.

A "red nose pit bull" is not a breed, it is simple one of several common colors that Pit Bulls can be. Puppies with both red and black noses can be born to the same litter.

Ideally, a dog (of any breed!) should be fed a diet containing a named source of protein (such as Chicken, Beef, Lamb, etc.) as the first ingredient listed on the package. If not the first ingredient, a named source of meat be within the first five ingredients listed. The food should not contain artificial colors or dyes, added sweeterners or salt, it should be preserved with "mixed tocopherols" (vitamin E) or ascorbic acid (vitamin C), and not with artificial preservatives such as Ethoxyquin, BHA, or BHT.

Many dogs develop skin or coat problems or Allergies from diets that contain corn, wheat or soy. If your dog has a poor coat, or has chronic itching problems, it may be due to the diet. The best quality dog diets do not contain these ingredients, instead for the carbohydrate source they use: potatoes, barley, or brown rice.
