You can't make your arms longer. There has been some speculation about that. In general, the common wisdom says that you can't do anything to change your height or the length of any long bone, that it's all pre-programmed when you're born. But the reality is, we're all growing until the "growth plate" closes. The growth plate is the are of our bones, near the ends, where "long" bones actually grow longer. Once the growth plate "closes" or ceases to function, you have reached your maximum height. Growth plates close usually a little after we start puberty. Apparantly, production of sex hormones cause the growth plate to close. One possibility that has bee speculated would be to exercise vigorously starting at about 12 or 13. The idea being that if you can prevent your body from producing fat and basically burn off anything that isn't essential, you might be able to prevent the buildup of enough sex hormone that would otherwise stop the growth plate. Gender specific secondary sex characteristics (deep voice, facial hair, body hair for boys, breasts, mensus and puberty hair for girls) would be delayed, allowing the long bones to grow a little more. It's all very speculative and there hasn't been much research into the idea, but it might be worth a try. It would require quite a bit of running and/or training to accomplish the goal and even then, it might not work. Other than that, there don't seem to be any exercises that will help grow speific bones. If you've already reached puberty and your growth plate has closed, you cannot do anything that will cause bone growth. Perhaps fortunately (in your case I'm assuming unfortunately), the length of our arms basically points down to DNA... your arms are in proportion to your body, and that's it. However, there are several things you can do to lengthen the muscle in your arms, hence creating the illusion of a more lean, long, strenous and toned pair of arms. Stretching your arms- whether it's the necessities like pulling them across your chest or holding onto a rail while turning the opposite direction, are exercises which will expand/stretch the muscle, creating more toned, longer looking limbs.. good luck.
