If the blisters are inside the mouth, I understand that it is a canker sore and not a fever blister, or cold sore. The latter two are from the herpes simplex 1 virus and I understand canker sores are not a virus at all. Good luck with finding your answer and I hope I was of some assistance!

∙ 10y agoA few home remedies for fever blisters include: Dabbing white vinegar on the blister to reduce swelling, applying honey to help aid in the healing process, using Vaseline to keep the blister moisturized, rubbing ice cubes on the sore, and adding water to cornstarch to create a paste to apply on the sore.
