We are from the UK and have one weeks holiday in August around the Chicago area but do not know what would be the best things to visit. Ideally we are looking at doing a roadtrip, and would like to see the best natural sites (i.e. national parks), stay in the best cities, or try some active things like white water rafting, bungee jumping. We have been to Chicago city before for a weekend, so we have seen Sears tower, the bean etc in Chicago and are looking for some other things we could go see on a road trip. All ideas welcome...
