A very personal question, but in my humble opinion, Italian is the most romantic at lunch or dinner. Probably because of the red color of the tomato sauce. It helps to have a box of chocolates ready as well.

Bread may be considered the best food because it's in expensive, easy to make, lasts a long time and is very filling. It's only down side is that it isn't a very good source for protein.
