Nets are meant for a player to improve on certain strengths and weaknesses, it is often touted that a cricketer lives the better half of his life in the nets, getting to the point, with a busy shedule and lots of tours to different parts of the world, i feel the nets should have the same kind of pitch as in the center, but logically thinking, it would be very difficult for the ground staff to maintain the same type of (world class) 4-5 pitches in one stadium, hence the cemented pitches which are predominantly used are the best available option as these pitches provide constant bounce and low maintance.
