The best first aid treatment for a burn is to immediatelyflood it with cold water. Don't delay - seconds count. Lots of water and keep it going. When it starts to ache a bit and you think you've had enough, don't stop. If you ever stop by a fire scene, or watch firefighters on the evening news and see one man soaking another by turning a fire-hose on him, it's not a fight and not a game. One man has burns and the other is working to minimise his injuries. On occasion 3rd degree burns (that is where the skin is actually charred black) are reduced to a small black patch surrounded by the red skin typical of first degree burns, accompanied by only minimal discomfort.
Well, I got this really bad sunburn, and I have found that these ways help get rid of it, or ease the pain. 1. Take cold showers. 2. Rub some product that has aloe in it on the sunburned parts. 3. Make sure you wear light clothing, prefrably cotton, so you don' t irritate it further. 4. Make sure you drink lots of water. 5. Make sure your skin is hydrated, so put lotions on it because the sun has dried it out. 6.You can take a bowl and put 75% water in it, and 25% vinegar in it, then take a towel, and gently place it over all your sunburned areas. It feels really good and makes some of the pain go away. (I've tried it myself) Hope that's helped you. Gigglybeth :)

it depends on what kind of burn. A minor burn you need to stop the burning, because even after the hot object is taken away it continues to burn. So the best thing to do is to have ice water made for you while they are doing that run your hand under cold water
Flour will burn. The best option is salt.
