Answer
Top to bottom, dry to wet to dry.
Heavy Cleaning
Always start at the top of any cleaning project. Go round the ceiling crown moldings with the broom covered with a dust cloth to rid yourself of cob webs. Then sweep down the walls. (Wash walls top to bottom, one by one and dry with towel, if necessary.) Use your dust cloth on the tops of the shower surround, medicine cabinet, and the like.Mix a solution of water and Lysol, Pine Sol, Mr. Clean, or whatever you are comfortable with. With the solution, use a sponge to wash the tops of the shower surround, light switches, medicine cabinet, mirror, counters and sink, the entire toilet tank, in that order. (Top to bottom) Step inside the shower and, using the sponge and solution, wash the shower surround inside including spigot and faucet handles. Wash the tub including spigot and faucet handles. Using a towel, dry everything that you have washed as you go. You may need vinegar and water (3 tbsp white vinegar/3 cups water) in spray bottle for mirror if streaky. Use newspaper to dry. Pour a small amount of your cleaning solution into the toilet. Using gloves and your sponge wipe out the inside of the bowl. If necessary, use a pumice stone for hard water deposits and the like. Sweep and mop and dry the floor with the towel.
