The first step to polish aluminum wheels is to simply remove the wheels from the vehicle. Following this, clean the wheels with soap designed for use on vehicles. Use an oven cleaner spray on the wheels and allow it to sit for approximately 20 minutes. Inspect the aluminum wheel for chips or cracks from rubbing against the curb. If there are any chips then carefully file out the cracks.Rinse the wheels with water and dry with a towel. After the wheel is dry, apply aluminum brightening cleaner to the wheel. After this, apply a polish to the wheel and be sure to be very thorough and clean the entire wheel. To finish, apply another polisher to the wheels and wipe with a cotton cloth until no residue comes back onto the cloth.
