Buy a hardwood cleaner kit. Its a special spray you use with a soft terry cloth. After vacumming or sweeping, spray on and immediately wipe clean. I have the brand Bruce Floor Cleaner and Lowe's sells it. Whatever you do, do NOT clean with water. Water will damage the finish. Good Luck!

Murphy's Oil Soap is the best - follow the directions on the bottle. Use hot water.

You can also use a small amount of Viniger and water. You dont want to douse the floors with water. The vineger also works as an odor eliminator.
