What is the best way to clean the underside of a vehicle?

[Edit]

Answer ITS SO EASY and FUN TOO

This is another one of those with more than one correct answer(like how to change fuel pump on a Suburban/ Dinali SUV). If you are not a real "GEARHEAD" who already does most of the work on your vehicle(s) yourself and enjoys it, the short answer is: Take it to a DETAILER and pay them to do it.
IF YOU ARE A GEARHEAD, then put the vehicle on a lift (your own, a buddy's, the one at the nearest "RENT-A-BAY"garage or the local service station. Then don your foul weather gear or an old pair of cutoffs and your rattiest sneakers and spray the entire underside with full strength "Purple Power" or your favorite concentrated cleaner. Let this soak in but don't let it dry. A second or third dose on heavy grease won't hurt. Then fire up your (someones) Pressure washer with the 15 degree or 25 degree nozzle on it, nothing wider and start blasting that crud off. Stay close; 5 to 10 inches, and work in an orderly pattern starting with the underside of the engine then the front suspension, transmission and on to the other end of the vehicle. Clean up the mess you've made on the floor. Pay anyone you need to. Change into dry clothes. Lower the Lift. Drive your MUCH CLEANER and atleast a few pounds lighter vehicle away.
