The best way according to me would be to reach Bangalore or Chennai.. and go from there..
Take a train / plane to Bangalore or Chennai, depending on your budget. If you want to use the plane further, i think both cities are connected to Tirupati viz flights.
Otherwise, get to AP Tourism office and get a guided tour/bus which they run.. That will enable you Darshana and you will also not have to wait in queue...
If you still want to save money, buy darshana tickets (not sure they will be available at Bangalore, Chennai office of AP tourism) and based on the waiting, reach tirumala on appropriate time..
I think, that should suffice.. To get AP tourism phone numbers, can check out their website.. Tirumala devsthanam also have their own website..
