Lady bugs, you release them in the room or yard or whatever, they will die quickly from the intense light and the cleanup is a pain but they'll take the spider mites down as a healthy last meal.
Pesticides.
Yes, spider mites are harmful to Cannabis. The latch on to the underside of the plants leaves and "suck" life giving sap. Leaves are perforated with multiple insertion points which inhibit chlorophyll production. The marijuana plant will loose partial to full function. Treat with soapy water (Very diluted) or a manufactured miticide.
Vinegar is acidic, and will probably kill spider mites, but it may also damage the leaves if you spray it on. A soapy water solution is better for spraying on spider mites than vinegar. Always test one leaf of a plant first, before spraying the entire plant, if using a home-made insecticide.
Use Vacuum Cleaners. Have your apartment sprayed for bugs regularly, it will not affect the spiders (they do not clean themselves so the poison wont be ingested) but they will leave on their own when no other insects are there to eat.
Red spider mites do not like being wet, wetting your cement benches a couple of times will help you to eliminate them. You can also spray the benches with a mixture of alcohol and water. This will also eliminate them.
Chili and salt are more of an animal block than an insecticide but you sprinkle it around the plant on on the plant to keep bunnies away but to kill to bugs on the plant you can take dish soap and water , put it in a spray bottle and spray the bugs on the plant. The soap coats the bugs outer shell and kills them. It well on Asian beetles and spider mites.
Bug spray.
Temps above 50F, bright light indoors, away from direct sun outdoors. Allow pot mix to slightly dry out between watering. Susceptible to spider mites. If present, use a spray bottle on 'mist' setting and frequently spray plant, including under leaves.
Spider egg sacks wouldn't kill a plant. I looked up the product you used and it specifically says not to spray it around people, pets, or plants. It was the Hot Shot that killed the plant.
Spiders, you must be talking about Red Spider Mites if you can see them, especially if they are present all the time. Spider mites do not like moisture so what I recommend is to mist your plants with water or you can use a product called Neem II (neem oil with pyretherins-it's an excellent product) found in a hardware or nursery. This should be done three or four times a day if possible. Make sure your plants are not dry all the time, this will help you to control those little buggers. Also, wash off your plant with plain water and try to wash/rinse as many mites off as you can, of course there will be more hatching out withing five to ten days. You can every spray the Neen Oil on the top of the soil and around the main stem of the plant.
If we are talking red spider mites then they hate a moist atmosphere so mist spray under the leaves daily with water and this will check them. If you are like me you will use an insecticide first to clean the plant.
one way of killing velvet mites is to spray a lot of water on one.
Caged birds with lice or mites will scratch a lot. Whether or not your parrot has lice or mites, it is wise to get a mite spray from the pet shop and spray it every couple of days. The spray does no harm if used properly.
