An application of a bleach solution or a commercial mold remover. The area needs to be dry and have good air circulation. Locate the source of moisture and repair that or the mold will return. If the area is a problem space with reoccurring mold then a coat of mold resistant paint would be in order. I am sorry but the above answer is partially incorrect. Using Bleach will only put the mold in a dormant state. Mold remediation is one area that companies exploit their customers due to fear associated with mold. Use Hydrogen Peroxide to wipe down all area's the mold is visible Let it dry. Then like the above answers stated, correct the problem. Mold can exist anywhere and does. The problem it is contained in a small area and the humidity level is too high and is feeding the growth of mold. Get in touch with a company that can waterproof, use a high performance vapor barrier and pours 4 inches of concrete. The second step is to close all vents that lead to the outside. Insulate the foundation sil boxes and supply the area with fresh air via your hvac system. Controlling humidity is the key. Humidity occurs mainly when outside air comes into contact with inside air. The temperature is different and condensation occurs and then the humidity level rises to support the growth of mold. There should be no reason to use a dehumidifier in your crawlspace if the work is done correctly.

It all depends on what is on the basement floor.

If the floor is lined with carpet, wooden sub-floor, laminates, hardwood floors, vinyl or linoleum, you will have to remove and discard everything because according to the Center for Disease Control there is no safe and effective way to remove mold from organic and/or porous surfaces.

If the floor is painted, scrape off the paint.

If you have ceramic tiles and the mold is growing on the grouts, scrape off and re-grout.

If it is just bare slab and it is moldy, chances are that you are having a drainage issue. The presence of mold in bare concrete indicates heavy seepage. Water from the over saturated ground is infiltrating the concrete at an unusually high rate.

Clean gutters, extend downspouts, grade the terrain as to slope away from the foundation and consider installing a drain tile and a sump pump in the basement.

You can then clean up the mold with a bleach solution.

Once the mold is removed, run a dehumidifier to keep it from coming back.

Keep the Relative Humidity levels in the basement under 60% and you will never have to worry about mold again.
