Keep your distance from him and ignore his behaviour - don't give into his behaviour as you only egg him on to cause an argument if you reply to any such things he does. When he realizes that you are moving on and not allowing him to treat you in such a manner or even paying him any attention he will back off. You have to hold your own, don't allow him to bother you, don't give in just walk away, ignore him, keep your distance, let go and move on.

If it is already happening then it can be dangerous to interfere; but if it is 'safe' to you should try to separate the 'combatants'; if you can not then all you can do is try to get an adult to intervine. But I know that teachers are not very inerested in getting 'involved' in this type of thing.
