Communication is the key
! Why do people get angry? Because they have expectations that are not met.... and how are their expectations met if they never tell anyone what they want, need, feel etc. You and your partner need to talk more about everyday things, important things and anything. The more you talk the less you will argue as you will often be on the same page.

People fight because the other person triggers the same things one of your parents triggered when you were little, and you give the same response, only bigger. Until you face your deepest fears and deal with them, you'll always fight. 'Nuff said.

Find a good therapist (good ones are hard to find -- you may have to fire quite a few before you get referred to a good one).

If alcohol or drugs are involved, get out. The fighting may change, but it will only get worse.

To make the fighting stop, you will both have to become more responsible than you are now. Or, find someone else who is more responsible and mature than your current mate.
