The largest most powerful bomb detonated in human history is theTsar-Bomb or AN602. It was detonated by the Soviet Union and was worth 100 megatons of TNT. Only one was ever made. The explosion would have been much larger if the bomb wasn't attached to a parachute so the plane could get away on time. It was 10x bigger the both bomb dropped on Japan. It has never been used in war. The bomb weighed a total of 27 tons.

The largest nuclear bomb ever detonated was codename Vanya, also known as Tsar Bomba (roughly "King of Bombs") and Kuzkina Mat (Kuzka's Mother, which relates to a Russian idiom meaning approximately "something that's never been seen before.")

It had a yield of approximately 50 megatonnes of TNT.

The biggest nuclear detonation was the Soviet Union's Tzar Bomba in 1961. at 52 to 58 MTons depending on measurement technique.

The biggest nuclear device built and detonated was the US Ivy Mike in 1952, at 10 MTons it was 20 feet in diameter and 80 feet tall.

Both were thermonuclear fusion devices, or H-bombs in common terminology.
