Currently, divorce is not okay with the church. Annulment is however. In order for a marriage to be annulled, one must prove there was one of several causes- abuse, adultery refusal to copulate, etc.
If one goes through the annulment process, and it is approved, they may then remarry. A divorced person may try to have their marriage annulled later; but unless it is, they cannot remarry in the church.
