How about a pimple that is under the skin . Actually a build up of bacteria . Often it's an ingrown hair. If your Ph level is off you can get a very sore little bump inside the nostril, in your mouth on your tongue, sore gums or even a sore on your lip. In a day or so the bump will go away. Most people get them.

∙ 15y agoI had an in-grown hair in my nostril once that caused excessive mucous build-up, drainage and crusting. After weeks of suffering through, I went to the Doctor Who put me on antibiotics and said I shouldn't have waited so long 'cause the infection could have traveled quickly to the brain from the nostril and caused real trouble.

∙ 12y agoGo to medhelp .org. There are lots of blogs on this subject or sore tender nose. I have it now. Hurts like a mother for no reason. Feels like someone hit me with a basebll bat or got punched inthe nose around the bridge on the right side. Went to doctor and he gave me anti-biotic and nasal steroid. On third day of treatment but not really feeling any better. Have no idea what the heck this is but I am not the only one. Suggest you go to ENT doctor.
