A land breeze is a breeze blowing toward the sea from the land. Is is common at night, when it is also called a katabatic wind, generated as the land cools faster than the sea at night, so air over the the land falls to give higher pressure and the air over the sea rises relatively. The wind is then only at low level. The air moves in the opposite direction high up.
Wind is caused by both temperature and pressure. As air molecules heat up near the Earth's surface they become lighter than the air molecules that are cooling off as they rise closer towards space. So as the molecules cool off they become heavier and sink below the hotter ones. Thus creating a constant flow. Now the pressure gradient force is derived from the uneven heating of the earth due to differing pressures around the globe. The rotation of the Earth also cause the pressure systems to move right in the Northern Hemisphere while going left in the Southern Hemisphere.
The above is very confused, though with some basic principles correct, but more for SEA Breeze, which is an ONshore wind common on sunny days, when the land heats up faster than the sea. Simply; Hot air rises. Colder air sinks.
A Land breeze is the opposite. At night the land cools more than the sea, which acts as a thermal store, so the process is reversed and the air moves from the land to the sea. The other term for this is a 'Katabatic' wind.
Both sea and land breezes are LOCAL effects, normally active only up to a mile two from the coastline, and acting at approximately 90 degrees.
All winds are caused by pressure differentials. The wind blows from high pressure zones to low pressure zones, the strength of the wind depends on the difference in pressure between the zones.
A land breeze occurs at night when the land is cooler than the water. It is a wind that circulates from the shore to the water.
A sea breeze. A land breeze blows from land to sea.
A mountain breeze blows cool from land to water.
Land breeze is in the air sea breeze is in the water
Land breeze is just like sea breeze, but land breeze is created during the night. Its cooler.
I am pretty sure that it is called land breeze. And the other way around is called onshore flow, I think.

Of course it is land breeze
A land breeze is when a breeze comes from the land and over the ocean!:)
It is called a land breeze

A land breeze is a type of wind that blows from the land to the ocean.A sen breeze blowing toward the land from the sea, esp. during the day owing to the relative warmth of the land.
