Depending on what model Yamaha Tyros keyboard is needed, whether a new or used one is required, or any number of other variables, finding the cheapest price will vary. Researching local music and instrument shops, as well as eBay and other online retailers is highly recommended.
The cost of a Yamaha Tyros will depend on where one purchase's the keyboard. However, one might purchase this keyboard on Amazon for under $250, possibly with free shipping.
a Samsung MP0804 works, but it's not easy to find now... just get a tyros 4 instead.
I imagine it depends where you live... 120v in USA, and 230v in UK & spain.
No. The power supplies used within ALL Yamaha Tyros 3 are the same, so you do NOT even need a transformer - simply use the appropriate power cable. However depending on where the instrument is being shipped to, the voltage/frequency label will be written with respect to that region.
Yes, but you'll need to download free software from the Yamaha website to convert the styles.
Tyros 4 will be realeased at the beginning of Octrober 2010

That question is IMPOSSIBLE to answer unless you are more specific. Korg or Yamaha? It depends: on which instrument, which model, what you are looking for, where you are at on the learning curve, what you plan on doing with the instrument, whether you prefer weighted keys or a sequencer to a larger variety of 'programs' or sounds, which sounds (and sound 'quality') you personally prefer, etc., etc. Please do be more specific if you would like a serious answer. This of course has mostly to do with personal preference, but that personal preference depends on a lot of the things I mentioned above, plus over a dozen others I haven't mentioned.
Storm Story Tyros
It depends what happened AFTER you spilt water on it. a) if it was switched on at the time, and then started doing strange things when you spilt water on it... you need to get it to your local Yamaha dealer to send away. b) if it WASN'T switched on at the time, and after you spilt water on it, you switched it on and it did strange things... Back to the local Yamaha dealer. c) if you spilt water on it... DIDN'T switch it on AND unplugged it... Well leave it for 6 weeks somewhere warm after which plug back in and have fun because it'll probably work. moral is? Never say 'I'll give it a try to see if it works' because that's what usually causes the shorts internally and blows everything apart
A tyro is an novice, a beginner, so a tyro scribe is a new scribe who's still learning.
I work in a store and usually sell people a Shure PG58.. they seem happy enough
