There are three types of Chihuahuas:

1. Apple head Chihuahuas which is the most common Chihuahua and they get the name Apple head because it refers to the shape of a puppy Chihuahuas head. The skull of their heads is broader than the jaw giving their heads the descriptions of an apple head.
2. Deer head Chihuahua which has a sloped forehead, not like the 90 degree angle from nose to forehead of the Apple head. The Deer head Chihuahua tends to have a longer nose and a head shape very similar to a fawn (baby deer).
3. Tea Cup Chihuahua's are not a breed of Chihuahuas and they are a gimmick. There is no such thing as a Tea Cup Chihuahua it is only used as a marketing name to sway people into spending money. There is no such breed of Chihuahuas and there is not such breed in reality, it is just a way to refer to small sized Chihuahuas.

Easy! Shih-Tzus are beautiful dogs that originally came from China. They are pampered and royal pooches! Shih-Tzus are also good for living in apartments and can live from 5-15 years. These dogs love attention and want as much of attention if they don't get it oftenly. But, be careful with these dogs aspecialy with children because they have sensitive skin! Shih-Tzu also don't bark very often (thats why they are good for apartments!) and are good guard dogs (they will bark and bark and bark if they feel a stranger is in the house!).

A shih tzu is a dog that was bred to look like a lion as seen in traditional Asian or Oriental artwork. The breed was known as a noble dog and was bred for royal families.

There aren't any types of Shih-Tzus but they can be one color of multicolored. Some Shih-Tzus are either just plain white, plain black, plain brown, & others are multicolored with colors such as black and white, brown and white. etc...
