I paid $5000.00 for total construction of my 3-piece 6'x8' basement bathroom (toilet, sink & shower).
THAT IS TERRIBLE PRICING ASSUMPTION: IM JUST ABOUT DONE BUILDING MY BATHROOM AND WITH THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THE JOB, TAKES YOU ABOUT FEW DAYS TO LEARN IT YOURSELF. THIS IS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE. kEEP IN MIND THREE RULES.
1: YOU WANT MOLD RESISTANT DRYWALL, (FOR A STANDARD 6X8 YOU WILL PAY $400-$600 TO MAKE YOURSELF ALL FOUR WALLS INCLUDING CEILING-Home Depot OR LOWES)
2: USING AN EXISTING ROUTE OF PIPING, REDUCES COST DRAMATICALLY, IF YOU ARE UNABLE, PVC PIPING WITH SEALANTS AND ESSENTIALS WILL ONLY DIFFER MAXIMUM OF $300 IF IT IS 15 FEET AWAY.
3: COST EFFECTIVE MATERIAL. NORMALLY WHEN YOU ARE BUILDING A SECONDARY BATHROOM YOU ARE TYPICALLY ONLY GOING TO NEED A STAND UP SHOWER. DECENT ONES ARE AVAILABLE FOR $250 AT LOWES. i BOUGHT THE ONE I WANTED FOR UNDER 300. SINK RAN ME ONLY $80, AND ACCESSORIES AROUND $200. TILES ARE GOING TO BE CHEAP BECAUSE THE ROOM IS SMALL. WHEN YOU BUILD A BATHROOM YOU WANT TO BUILD IT ONCE AND COST EFFECTIVE SO PLAN IT OUT. I FOUND OUT THAT CARPETING HALF IS NICER AND MORE HOMEY

SO FOR 5000$ YOU CAN HAVE ALL LUXURY.
BATHROOM COUNTERS, CABINETS IN INSTALLED COST ME EXTRA OF $400.
i ONLY SPENT $2140, ON MY BATHROOM, AND IT HAS EVERYTHING.
SHOP AROUND FOR THE BEST MATERIAL PRICES AND ALWAYS BETTER TO BUY IN BULK OR CUT SOME MATERIALS YOURSELF. $5000 IS OUTRAGEOUSLY STUPID RIGHT NOW. fOR THAT MONEY YOU CAN BUILD THE BATHROOM IM TELLING YOU AND ALSO BUY A REVERSE OSMOSIS WATER SYSTEM FOR YOUR ENTIRE HOUSE, SO YOU CAN DRINK PURE UNSALTED FRESH WATER. bATHING IN IT IS THE BEST.

It depends what kind of bathroom you have
The cost of 2-4 screws. All you need is a level.
Definetly less expensive to build on a slab, but you also don't get the added sq footage of the basement.
Bathroom is safe only if it is located in a basement, but otherwise, I'll strongly recommend a basement which is supposed to keep the tornadoes out, if you are in an area where tornadoes tend to come.
buy the materials yourself and build it yourself its cheaper
In the bathroom and in the basement
I want to build a bar in my basement. What are some ideas to do this as easily as possible?
A 15x30 basement will cost about four thousand.
You should build a place made out of brick with no windows or a place made out of stone with no windows. Or go to a place with no windows for ex: a basement or a bathroom with no windows.
you should go into a bathroom if there is one in your basement (the reason why i say bathroom is because some basements are made to be like another house) but if you use your basement for storage you should take a mattress down there and stay in a corner.
It cost around 10-25k, depending on size and current condition of a basement. 10k would be on the lower side, and in most cases it would cost more. Although, this would include just the finish basement and basic electric stuff (outlets, lights etc) if you want plumbing work (like a bathroom) or ac/heating it would cost more. And if you buy and then do a finish basement, you have to pay for it, if you buy a house with finished basement then your downpayment will only increase slightly. Still, you should buy a house you like. Finish basement isn't hard to do, as long as you can pay to get it done. BUt the main thing is that to find a good quality experience basement renovation or construction contractor. That will help you much.
