Also keep in mind that there are non ferrous prices and ferrous prices and various grades within these categories. In general, you should check online with various sources of scrap metal prices and then call your local scrap yard to compare pricing.

∙ 12y agoCheck market prices. If you 're a dealer then its 85-95% of that. If you're a regular Joe then 70-80% of market price, depends on how greedy the yard where you sell scrap.
