When you say daily allowance, you're implying that soy is a sort of essential nutrient that must be consumed every day for good health, such as vitamin C or potassium. While soy is a healthy, low-fat source of vegetarian protein, one can exist without soy, hence there is no "daily allowance" for soy anymore than there is for any other healthy food, such as broccoli or carrots.
