What is the dealer markup on cars?

Answer

Car dealerships make most of their income with used cars, so the mark-up on used cars will probably be more significant than the mark up on new ones. Dealerships will usually mark up a car from 25 to 35 percent, but can range anywhere from 50 to 100 percent if they feel they can strike a deal.
