Communicable diseases are the kind caused by germs that can spread from one person to another. The most familiar example is the common cold. You can give someone your cold. Some diseases are not communicable. For example, you don't get Arthritis by being exposed to someone else who has arthritis. It is just a disease of aging, the body wears out.
