A dependent (responding) variable is a condition that can change as the result of an independent variable's alteration. It can also be referred to as an effect.
Every well-designed experiment has three kinds of variables.
1) Control variables, which are the same for each stage of the experiment.
2) Independent (manipulated) variables, which represent what is being changed by experimenters.
3) Dependent (responding) variables, which respond to the change and ideally are the direct result of the change in the independent (manipulated) variables.
A dependent variable is what you measure in the experiment and how it is affected. The dependent variable responds to the independent variable.
The responding variable was changing during the course of time.
A synonym for responding variable would be dependent variable.

Pointer is a variable, A variable that stores the address of another variable. Size of a pointer is 2 bytes.
False
it means a bunch of terms put togather without an equal sign a term is a number that may or may not have a variable it can also have either a positive or negetive sign in front of it
Core are is the heartland of a civilization, which is usually more advanced than others. In this area, extreme pride in culture is felt.
condition that changes in response to the manipulated variable in an experiment.
Operational definition
Any variable can be declared as the independent variable, then the other would be the dependent variable. However, it is quite common to arbitrarily define y as the dependent variable - a variable that depends on x.
The gradient of a curve is the rate of change in the dependent variable relative to the independent variable.
an experiment in which only the manipulated and responding variable are allowed to change and conditions are kept the same.
the controlled variables are the factors that are kept constant during an experiment. if they are not kept constant then they may affect the outcome of the experiment. the manipulated variable is the factor that is different between the experiment and the control. the responding variable is the variable that is being measured in the experiment.

Independent variables answer the question "What do I change?"Dependent variables answer the question "What do I observe?"Controlled variables answer the question "What do I keep the same?"

Take the expression y = f(x) where f is a function relating y in terms of x. x is the input - the independant variable. y is the output - the dependant variable because it's value depends on x.
