Say hello ask how person is doing ask how day has been then state why you are calling them. When done tell them have a nice day if you asked a question NO MATTER WHAT THE ANSWER tell them thank you for answering the question have a nice day and politely and quietly hang up.
When talking make sure you are in a reasonably quiet room and are not talking to other people in the back ground.
