Science is an organized body of knowledge supported by observation and experimentation, derived from the study of natural phenomena present in the material universe.

The three major branches of science are physics, chemistry, and Biology.

Most of the other branches are specialized forms of the above three.

In science, the "scientific method" is employed, whereby one posits questions about a given phenomenon, make a hypothesis about the phenomenon, design an experiment to test that hypothesis, gather data, analyze the data, and draw conclusions from the results.

A key factor from the above is that the experiment and results must be reproduceable in order for the conclusions to be valid.

First, an hypothesis is formed which is an educated guess that is based on prior knowledge.

Second, outcomes are presented.

Third, tests are run to determine if the hypothesis is valid.
