The bulk density of short chain, single walled carbon nanotubes are roughly 1.3-1.4g/cm3 (1300-1400kg/m). The bulk density is the density of a bundle, or group, of nanotubes together. The bulk density changes depending on the length of tubes, diameter, how many walls there are, and how they are ordered and packed, and can be as low as 0.15g/cm3.
The true density, or, the density of just one tube, is closer to 2.1g/cm3. This changes very little with length, diameter, or number of walls.

Carbon is an atom with 4 free electrons. Carbon forms 3 shapes from only carbon:
- Graphite
- Diamond
- Fullerene
Fullerene can be a ball of 60 c-atoms or they can form an endless nanotube. Here are the pictures:

According to the safety data sheet the melting point of carbon nanotubes has yet to be determined. Traditionally carbon can be melted but often sublimes.

Carbon is non metal as it does not have any metallic properties.
Basically because Carbon is a relatively light element and carbon fiber is only made of carbon atoms
what are the elements of fiber
what is vapor density of carbon mono oxide
In a word. No.
Fibreglass has a density of 5.67 g/cm3 whereas carbon fibre reinforced polymers have a density of 1.6 g/cm3. (Fibreglass is 'heavier')
Carbon fiber has a typical density of 1.750 grams per cubic centimeter, equals 1750 kilograms per cubic meter, equals 1.01156 ounces per cubic inch. Carbon fiber is lighter than Aluminum given the same parameters, with regular plastics being lighter than carbon fiber but measurably weaker.
which fiber has highest density ?
The most widely used form of carbon fiber, called intermediate modulus (or IM) carbon fiber will break at a load around 300,000 lbs per square inch of material along the fiber direction in tension. When the carbon fiber is woven into cloth, the tensile strength drops roughly in half as half the fibers are strong in one direction and half are strong in the other direction.

Carbon Fiber
Carbon Fiber, yes.
Carbon is non metal as it does not have any metallic properties.
Basically because Carbon is a relatively light element and carbon fiber is only made of carbon atoms
carbon fiber costs more than steel
what are the elements of fiber
As far as carbon fiber composites go, yes, quite easily.
