There are a few key differences, and of course some more detailed changes in rules. Here are the most important differences...
-A receiver in the NCAA only needs to have one foot in bounds to complete a catch, whereas the NFL requires both feet to be in bounds.
-A player is down in NCAA rules when one knee touches the ground. In the NFL, a player must be forced to the ground and have both knees touch. In college play, even if you trip on your own, one leg on the ground means the play is over.
-In college, the game clock stops after a first down, in the NFL is continues counting. This gets important later in the half, when there is not much time left.
-Overtime in the NFL is sudden death, there is a coin toss to determine who receives the ball, and the first point wins. If no one scores after one 15 minute overtime, the game ends in a tie (excluding post-season play.) In NCAA games, each team is given on possession at their opponent's 25-yard line and given a chance to score. Play continues until one team outscores another in even chances.
