∙ 11y agoThey are not the same. A copier scans a document and creates a file of the image, or uses OCR (Character Character Recognision) to create an editable text file from the image file. A printer simply prints on paper the data sent to it by the computer. It maybe that the printer is printing out the file sent to it after being scanned and saved as a file, as outlined above.
