In the Hebrew Bible, the commandment is: Love your neighbor as yourself; I am the LORD your God.

In the New Testament, Jesus teaches that it is the "greatest" commandment to love your neighbor as yourself.

So one has a suffix while the other has a prefix.

It should be noted that it was the defining belief among the Pharisees that acts of loving-kindness are "greater" than ritual laws.
