What is the difference between Pentecostal and Baptist hymns?

Well, I am Pentecostal, and I was raised Baptist, but then I eventually switched over. I have found that pentecostal and baptist are pretty different, for many reasons. Pentecostals believe in being baptised in Jesus name, Jesus is God, just in human form, and we also believe in evidence of speaking in tongues, after recieving the Holy Ghost. Baptist, believe basically the opposite, they believe in the Father, Son and Holy Ghost, as different people, instead of all of them equal one.

Answer

Many Baptist churches use older hymns in their services such as many of the gospel revival songs written during the Ira Sankey period. Some less conservative churches use chorus' and more modern day gospel songs, very similar to what is used in a Pentecostal church.
