A H3 is a midsize SUV with a Vortec 3.7L Inline-5 engine 242 hp @ 5600 rpm cast aluminum block and cylinder head based on the Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon pickups. The H3 is 85.6 inches wide and 73inches high. The H3 is registered as a car.

Hummer 2 is built in Non-GM Plant called AM General where they build the military Hmmvee Vehicles (H1) Mishawaka, Indiana

Hummer 3 is built in a GM Plant at shrevport, Louisiana. They are in the same assembly line as the "Colorado" Trucks. The major difference is the "Body".
