A PLUTOIDS is a dwarf planets with an orbit outside that of Neptune.Plutiods are sometimes referred to as "ice dwarfs" due to their diminutive size and cold surface temperatures. The outer planets show evidence of interaction with plutoids. While dwarf planets, there are potentially hundreds of plutoid objects in the solar system that has yet to be given official. Dwarf planet are aloso objects in the solar system which orbit the sun.
The classification between dwarf/sub planets and regular planets is still being discussed, but there are mainly two things that distinguish a dwarf planet from a regular one as of right now: 1. Its orbit (For example: Pluto's orbit has not been cleared of debris such as asteroids by Pluto itself, while the other planets have cleared their orbits.) 2. Its size (For example: Pluto's size is 2/3's the size of Earth)
A planet is a planet that has a normal orbit. A dwarf planet is a planet that has an irregular orbit.
Some planetesimals joined together through collisions and through the force of gravity to form larger bodies called protoplanets.
the difference is that they dont have alot in common..
A normal planet is huge and a dwarf planet is really small.
a planet is different than a dwarf planet because it is bigger and revolves closer to it's sun
the planet is one of the gases planet.. and the dwarf planets are small planets..
Plutoids are past Neptune dwarf planets.
size, mass, weight, gravitational pull

Pluto is a Dwarf Planet because it is too small to be a Classical Planet. Dwarf Planets are much smaller than Classical Planets. If you look at a diagram of the solar system with Pluto in it, you will see that it is much smaller compared to the other Classical Planets.
The difference is that a dwarf planet is not or no longer a true planet. To be a true planet it must fit these criteria:1.Orbit the Sun2. Be spherical(rounded shape)3. Be able to clear its path of any objects in the way such as debrisPluto was unable to fit these criteria so is now a dwarf planet :)

Ceres is the closest dwarf planet to the sun. Ceres is in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter. The other dwarf planets are out past the orbit of Neptune.
A planet is a ruffly spherical object that orbits a star. The difference between a planet and a dwarf planet is a planet clears its orbit of debris by itself- a dwarf planet has help! Hope this helps!xxx :-)

A planet is bigger than a dwarf planet and the Moon. A planet revolves around the Sun directly in its own orbit, but so does a dwarf planet. However, the planet is the dominant object in its orbital region. A dwarf planet is not the dominant object. That's the important difference.
Makemake is the second dwarf planet from Pluto (moving away from the sun). The only dwarf planet in between the two of them is Haumea.

Pluto is currently classified as a Dwarf Planet, it has however varied between a full planet, a moon, and now a dwarf planet. Dwarf Planets are functionally the same as a regular planet, their size is just a bit smaller.
i .The difference is they are much much smaller. ii. The similarity is that they have moons.
