What is the difference between a euro and an American dollar?

Answer:

The euro is the currency of the European Union. It's divided into 100 cents just like an American dollar. The coins and bills are very different, however - different colors, shapes, and denominations. Still, it shouldn't take very long to get used to the coins or bills because the differences are very obvious.

The only thing that's hard to deal with is how much the euro is worth compared to the dollar, about $1.45 at this writing.

Go to wikipedia or search for "euro currency" in Google for lots of pictures and other information.
