There is no difference between a 'computer' and a laptop, a laptop is a computer, however there is a difference between a desktop and a laptop, the laptop being less powerful than a desktop but more mobile, with a charging battery...
Laptop is something that you can bring anywhere you want, unlike a home computer. But it's hard to print outside unless you have a wireline to connect the laptop to the printer. Laptop can save you the programs you just looked at just by closing and it turns off easily. It also has mouse attached to it.
Computers are big and heavy, unable to bring wherever you go. But it's easy to print right at that point. It won't save your thing when you turn it off, unless you save them. It has more templates in the keyboard then laptop. It's mouse is easier to move or drag stuff.
Also, laptops are slower than computers and if the computer breaks, laptop also gets breaks in one house. (If they are charging in one house)
Laptop needs battery charging always with it, but computer don't
There is no difference that matter aside from the fact that a laptop is portable and can be set up away from a fixed power source. And they cost more to have repaired.

and a computer gennerally has more memory and is slightly faster but laptops can be upgraded to change this.
