A park is a natural or semi-natural area for people to visit; it may or may not have trees or forests within it, and if entirely man-made, may not have a fully functioning ecosystem.

The United States is home to both national parks and national forests. The main difference between the two is their history and priorities. The main priority for a national park is to preserve the land. The forest is sustain the health and diversity of the land.
