Yes. This is called the levels of complexity. Chemicals are used to make cells. Cells that have the same form and function are called tissues. A group of tissues with a similar function are called tissues. Groups of tissues that all share a common function are called organs, a group of organs with the sme function are called a system. And, finally, a group of organ systems functioning together are called an organism!
