AM stands for Ante Meridian - meaning before noon and PM is Post Meridian - after noon.
one means morning and the other means after noon
Using the 12 hour system, a.m. (ante meridiem) means before midday (midnight to noon) and p.m. (post meridiem) means past midday (noon to midnight.
Am= After Midnight
Pm= Past Midday
Midnight is am and (obviously) noon is pm
12.45 pm
it is 9127 PM EDT = 5 PM CST7 PM EDT = 6 PM CDT7 PM EST = 6 PM CST7 PM EST = 7 PM CDT
8 PM PST is 9 PM MST and 10 PM MDT.8 PM PDT is 8 PM MST and 9 PM MDT.
5 pm PDT = 8 PM AST = 9 PM ADT 5 PM PST = 9 PM AST = 10 PM ADT
Bond Length is often measured in picometers (pm).
Midnight to noon is 12 hours (AM), noon to midnight is another 12 hours (PM). Therefore, it is 12 hours from PM to AM.
It's neither, 12 noon and 12 midnight are just that although there are a lot of illiterates in positions where they should know better!)
it is pm. when it gets to noon, it is pm
12 pm, 1 pm, 2 pm, 3 pm, 4 pm, 5 pm, 6 pm, 7 pm, 8 pm. 8 hours.
Midnight is am and (obviously) noon is pm
12.45 pm

Unlike "night" and "day" the terms AM (ante meridiem) and PM (post meridiem) only define the periods before noon and after noon (these clock times must of course vary by location on the turning Earth).So they are only opposites with reference to the arbitrary time of noon, which astronomically is when the Sun is the highest in the sky for the day.
8 PM PST is 9 PM MST and 10 PM MDT.8 PM PDT is 8 PM MST and 9 PM MDT.
