What is the difference between an adjustable strut and a non-adjustable strut?

[Edit]

Answer

An adjustable strut will have some type of collar which will allow the spring to be set tighter or looser, look for threads on the outside of the strut body and a big nut which u would spin up or down. there may be a few other designs, that are used, but that was the most common.
